Micpoint’s telecom operations have been transferred to the new Movida following mutual agreement. This arrangement allows both parties to focus fully on their respective areas of expertise.
Micpoint will continue its fleet management and related automotive operations in Houten. The telecommunications operations will be continued by Movida Nederland B.V. from Lelystad, under the day-to-day management of Ed Moné. The telecommunications service desk is also part of the spin-off and will be physically relocated to Lelystad, along with its employees.
The agreements transferred to Movida and the obligations associated with them remain in full force and effect and will be continued under a different name.
The transition began on December 1, 2017, and will be completed as of January 1, 2018.
We are striving to make the transition as seamless as possible. In principle, phone numbers, ticketing systems, and email addresses will remain the same. Of course, our mutual clients have been informed of any specific changes.
Both management teams believe that, in this way, they will be able to continue to respond optimally to ongoing developments and technologies on behalf of their clients in the coming years.
